Baseball in the Bahamas, and especially junior baseball in the Bahamas, needs to be promoted, supported, and encouraged in any way it can be. Given the issues that face all of us in the country right now, baseball represents a positive influence in kids' lives, no matter what their background or situation.

Teamwork, discipline, accountability, sportsmanship, athleticism. These are just a few of the traits that an organized league like the Junior Baseball League of Nassau (JBLN) promotes and supports. Many individuals involved with JBLN freely give their time and resources to make sure the league continues and prospers.

More than 270 kids currenly play on teams in JBLN.

This site is just the start of what I hope will be a group effort to create a JBLN community online, so that information, stats, photos, etc can be quickly and easily reported each week.

You can help by logging on frequently to check out what's new, and by leaving comments. Please understand that this site is intended to be interactive. So, interact!

These are a few of the photos that were taken on April 22. As we develop this site, we will continue to add new features and resources for the benefit of everyone.
