Bahamas Baseball was established to help the development of young baseball players in the Bahamas by providing recognition and exposure of their efforts.


Too often in the past, this was the sole responsiblity of the local media--which often could not provide the coverage the game deserves--or specific local sports associations that seem to have never-ending issues with egos, agendas, and other growth-stunting problems.


Because Bahamas Baseball is a "blog" (weblog), it invites comments by anyone interested enough to view the site. Negative or positive, it doesn't matter. As long as the objective is to help the growth of youth baseball in the Bahamas.


What matters is that people have a forum for discussing ideas related to youth baseball in the Bahamas, coaching, rules, individual play, questions, etc etc. All of these things go into creating a community of people who would like to support youth baseball in the Bahamas, and provide a safe, positive, learning-based competitive environment for kids.
