Junior Baseball League of Nassau fielded a team of players to take on Florida's Hammertime Performance team over the weekend. The tournament saw the return of former JBLN coach, Ray Catena, and the friendly contest began the journey back to regular season play for the JBLN players.
Hammertime won all three games played at the JBLN Field of Dreams Saturday and Sunday, while JBLN won both of the base running competitions held on Sunday.
Next weekend, another Florida team from the Bucky Dent Baseaball School will visit Nassau to take on another JBLN team. All are welcome to come out and watch the contest.
